Felicity Buchan has celebrated the achievements of women around the world on International Women's Day.
The UK is a world-leader on women’s rights, fighting for constitutional, legal and workplace rights for women. The MP for Kensington promoted the Government's new global Women and Girls Strategy, announced on IWD to ensure the UK is always an example to our international partners on tackling inequality.
Felicity said:
"The Conservative Party is the party of Women. Not only was the first female Member of Parliament a Conservative, the first three and only female Prime Ministers were Conservative. That is a record to be proud of. With colleagues, I will always stand up for the rights of women and girls, at home and abroad. Happy International Women's Day!"
