The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has launched a consultation to axe several bus routes across Kensington and Chelsea.
TfL is proposing to cut numbers 11, N11, 14, 31, 74, N74 and C3, whilst numbers 19, 27, 49, 211, 328, 414 and 430 will face changes and reductions.
Many of our residents rely on these buses to get to work, to medical appointments or to shop. The disruption to these established routes means forcing people back to using cars or massively increased travel times using busier buses, with day-to-day commuters, disabled people and parents with pushchairs vying for limited space.
Greg Hands MP, Tony Devenish AM, Cllr Elizabeth Campbell, Leader of RBKC, Cllr Victoria Brocklebank-Fowler, LBHF Conservative Group Leader and I have teamed to stop this destruction of our public services.
