Local Schools Concerned By Labour's Schools Tax

I have been catching up with some of our local schools in Kensington and one theme keeps coming up: the Labour Party's proposals to remove the VAT (20% tax) exemption for independent schools. 

Like me, many schools are concerned that these proposals will punish parents, put financial pressure on smaller independent schools, saturate the state system and reduce SEND support. 

The pressure that this policy will put on the State system means that ultimately, it will be a net cost to the treasury.
