Supporting our Local Schools

I am committed to ensuring that Kensington has the best state and private schools in the country and I believe that choice is important to all parents.

Keeping Kensington and Bayswater Moving

We need a reliable transport system that supports residents going about their daily lives.

That's why it's completely unacceptable that stations like Holland Park station and Lancaster Gate station have been closed over 100 times each since January 2022.

Making Kensington & Bayswater Flood Resilient

Kensington has flooded several times since 2000, and most recently in July 2021.

The impact of that flood was severe; residents and businesses lost property, insurance premiums skyrocketed, and in the worst cases people were displaced from their homes.

Rebuilding St Mary's Hospital

It's important that Kensington residents have access to the best healthcare when they need it.

That's why it's great news that we've secured millions in funding from Government to redevelop St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

Cleaning Up Our Air

Cleaning up our air has always been a top priority for me.

So I'm proud that under this Government we've halved emissions since their peak in the 1990s making us the first country to do so in the world.

Keep Our Stations Open!

I join local residents and Tony Devenish AM in calling on the failing Labour Mayor, Sadiq Khan, to 'Keep our Stations Open'.

Say NO to Labour's Schools Tax

We remain concerned that Labour’s proposals to charge parents 20% VAT on fees will have a serious impact on our schools and the parents who choose them. In particular:

Redevelopment Which Delivers for Kensington

We need more housing but any new developments must be in keeping with our skyline and conservation areas.

I will continue to campaign against unfit development around South Kensington Tube Station and monitor new developments in Earl's Court and Ladbroke Grove.

Step-Free Access for South Kensington

South Kensington Station hosts around 34m customers a year serving a mixture of local residents and tourists.

Given South Kensington's host of cultural destinations, such as the Natural History Museum, V&A and Science Museum, the station is very busy every day.
